About

Sierra Verde Landscaping was founded in 2011 by Carlos Medina, a Kernville native with over 20 years of experience working the land in the southern Sierra Nevada. What started as a one-man operation with a truck and a trailer has grown into a trusted local business serving homeowners, vacation rentals, and small commercial properties throughout the valley.

Carlos built Sierra Verde on the belief that good landscaping should work with the local environment, not against it. Every design we create takes into account the elevation, the soil, the seasonal water supply, and the character of the property. We specialize in low-water and drought-tolerant landscapes that look great year-round without putting pressure on local water resources.

We are fully licensed and insured, and all work is performed by our own crew — no subcontractors. When you call Sierra Verde, you get the same familiar faces every time.
